Workplace interior by The Design Interior

Our Process

The home you approved is the home you receive.

Most interior projects go wrong in the gap between the drawing and the site. We closed that gap by keeping design and execution in the same studio, pricing a single written scope before work starts, and running our own team on site. Six stages, one point of accountability.

01

Consultation

We meet at your site or our studio, understand how you actually live or work, and establish budget and timeline honestly before any drawing begins.

02

Concept and layout

Space planning, mood direction and material story. You see the idea in plan and in elevation before a rupee is committed.

03

Design development

3D visualisation, finish schedules and detailed drawings — the point at which the home stops being an idea and becomes a specification.

04

Written scope and estimate

A single itemised scope of work with rates and a schedule. This is what you approve, and this is what gets built.

05

Execution

Our own site team runs civil, joinery, services and finishes, coordinating the contractors and suppliers we have worked with for years.

06

Styling and handover

Furniture, lighting, art and accessories placed, snag list closed, and the space handed over ready to be lived in.

What you get in writing

SCOPE

An itemised scope of work

Room by room, with rates against every line, so nothing is assumed.

TIME

A dated schedule

Stage-wise milestones you can hold the studio to.

SPEC

A finish and material schedule

Named brands, codes and finishes — not “equivalent”.
